How to heal in Lords of the Fallen
There are three main methods of healing that you can employ in Lords of the Fallen:
- Consuming a Briostone
- Resting at a Vestige
- Using your Sanquinarix
The most effective way to heal is by using your Sanquinarix, which is your primary source of rejuvenation. The downside to this is that it is limited in uses, with the stock amount locked at three, but it can be upgraded by visiting Pieta and giving her Saintly Quintessences.
A great backup to have in your inventory is the Briostone. This is the less effective form of healing, but it will get you out of sticky situations if your Sanquinarix is out of uses. It won't heal you instantly but will grant you health over time, so you'll need to keep out of the way of further punishment.

While they are few and far between, Vestiges have a variety of uses, including levelling up and engaging in PvP or co-op facets of Lords of the Fallen. Another handy use these checkpoints have is for healing and restocking purposes. By selecting the Rest option, you can replenish your Crusader's health and ammunition. But beware, this will cause all enemies to respawn on the map.
Perhaps the most important facet of Lords of the Fallen to understand, being able to heal your character quickly can be the difference between victory or demise in combat.
The variety of enemies you encounter in the semi-open world of Mournstead each provides their own unique challenges and skills that have the potential to deal a devastating amount of damage. Because of this, having the right items to heal yourself is crucial to success in your quest to stop Adyr.
