Marvel's Avengers: How To Earn Units and Credits

Marvel's Avengers finally lands on September 4, but as with many "games as a service" titles, it can be confusing to get to grips with multiple currencies.

In the game, players can earn both Units and Credits - here's what they are, how to get them, and what they do.

Marvel's Avengers Units and Credits Guide

Units

Units are doled out to players on a near-constant basis and are earned from doing pretty much anything.

That means you'll earn them for completing missions, beating bosses, and progressing the game's story content.

You can use units to buy gear from the in-game vendors, as well as level up your Hero Challenge Card - essentially a character-specific battle pass.

Credits

While Credits were handed out in small amounts during the game's beta, it's likely that they'll be harder to come by in the full game.

These are essentially the game's premium currency, likely to be purchasable with real money. That's not the only way to get them, though - by completing some criteria on your Hero Card, you'll earn a few here and there.

These won't necessarily help with in-game buffs, but they can be used on cosmetic items like new skins for your character.
