At the very beginning of Dying Light 2, Aiden is pretty much on his own. This means that you have a lot of people that you need to meet and greet in Old Villedor. Some of the first people that you meet are known as "the survivors". They are the general folk of Villedor that have managed to stay alive in this post-apocalyptic world and all they want to do is to continue to survive.
Even though they tried to hang you (and very nearly succeeded) when you enter the City, they're not too hostile. One of your first missions after gaining your Biomarker is to go to the Bazaar and meet the people. However, this is when things can get a little bit confusing.
We're going to show you how to complete the "meet the people of the bazaar" objective and it requires a small deviation from the story.
How to Meet the People at the Bazaar
The first thing you need to do is explore both levels of the Bazaar itself and speak to everyone you can. Start with all of the merchants/traders at their stalls. Once you've spoken to all of them, head around the Bazaar and interact with the general population. After you're sure you've spoken to everyone, the objective may still not appear complete.
Find Carlos
You need to find someone near the front of the Bazaar called Carlos. Speak with him and he will ask you to help him with a small project. Do this side-quest as soon as you are given it. By completing the side-quest with Carlos, you'll learn about Craftmasters. They are very important to know about as they upgrade your weapons and can provide you with new ones.
Find Julian
Once you have completed that quest, head to Julian (the trader involved in the poisoned water scandal). You can find him inside the Bazaar next to the Craftmaster stall. Complete the quest surrounding him. After you complete your second side quest, the "meet the people of the Bazaar" objective will be complete and you'll get a call from Hakon.
