Ever find yourself getting sick of playing Fallout 4, but also too addicted to it to quit out and fire up something else?
Well, if you’re also a fan of Call of Duty, Halo, GTA or The Witcher, the Fallout modding community may just have provided a means to rescue you from your dire situation.
A series of new mods by different authors have arrived on the Nexus, all united by one common goal. Take bits of Fallout 4 and transform them into other games.
Fallout 4 Modders Transform It Into Other Games
First on the list is the most recent addition to the group, JustMeMatt07’s “Modern Warfare 2019 Loading Screens”, which, as its name suggests, injects a dose of the gulag into the game’s transitions.
Naturally, this is perfect for those whittling away the hours while waiting in anticipation of fresh news regarding the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 or those who just really love staring deeply into Captain Price’s beautiful eyes.
On the other hand, if you’re more of a Halo person, perhaps CasshernX’s “Infinite Armory - Railroad Marines” will be up your alley.
This mod transforms Railroad agents in the field into mini Master Chiefs, though it does require another mod, Kelcken’s “Infinite Armory”, in order to work.
For those who love the classic GTA experience, but maybe didn’t like the recent remaster of the original trilogy, why not try bringing San Andreas to The Commonwealth with Dan Ruta and radbeetle’s “Carl Johnson (CJ) in Fallout 4 - Voice replacer and face preset”.
The title pretty much explains it, but for a demonstration of the mod in action, check out this video:
Finally, for those who want a little more mediaeval fantasy in their post-apocalyptia, why not bring everyone’s favourite monster slayers into Fallout via Sephrajin’s mod “Sephrajins Presets for FO4 - Witcher 3”.
While it’s currently limited to just Geralt and Ciri, there are also plans to add Triss and Yennefer to the mod’s mix in future, so you might eventually be able to unite the whole gang in the irradiated ruins.
So, get ready to bring a taste of something different to your wasteland experience and make sure you follow us for more coverage of mods for games like Skyrim and Fallout.
