Once Microsoft's deal acquisition of Activision goes through, there's a chance Call of Duty titles could head to Nintendo consoles for the first time in years.
Modern Warfare 2 is currently available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation and as attention moves towards the Season Two update, Microsoft's merger with Call of Duty's publisher continues to rumble on.

Can you get Modern Warfare 2 on Switch?
At the time of writing, Modern Warfare 2 isn't available on Switch. However, with Nintendo's recent deal with Microsoft, there's always a possibility of Infinity Ward's latest title appearing on a Switch in the future.
The prospect of having MW2 on a handheld device is an exciting one but the high-end hardware needed to run the game smoothly could hold it back. As soon as we hear any information on MW2 heading to Switch, we'll update the guide with all the intel.

If developers manage to optimise Modern Warfare 2 so it runs on Switch, a 2023 release date is likely but if not, there's a chance the game never makes it to Nintendo's platform.

Call of Duty Nintendo leaks
The chances of Modern Warfare 2 appearing on Switch are relatively slim but that doesn't mean Call of Duty won't ever appear on a Switch or other Nintendo consoles. Instead of MW2, perhaps a port of COD Mobile is more likely? The game features a huge number of maps and weapons from various titles and runs well on mobile phones. A Switch version could prove hugely popular.
So far, no signs of a Nintendo Call of Duty are in the works but there's always a chance.
