Season One Reloaded for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 is well underway. The mid-season update for the battle royale and multiplayer brings a wealth of new content including the very first Raid. Before you begin the raid, you'll want to know how to get a Raid Key. Without a Raid Key, you can't do the raid!

Raids are a brand-new co-op experience in Call of Duty and are direct continuations from the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. These missions feature elements of stealth, puzzle-solving, and plenty of AI opposition to deal with.

What is a Call of Duty Raid Key?

A Raid Key is what you need to earn before you start the Atomgrad Raid. There are several ways you can earn a key across multiplayer, Warzone 2, and DMZ.

Once you earn a key, you can access the Raid for a full week. When the week ends, you'll need to earn another key before dropping into the action again.

How to get a Raid Key

The three methods to obtain a Raid Key are extremely straightforward. Whether you're playing multiplayer, Warzone 2, DMZ, or Special Ops, there are specific requirements you need to complete.

  • In multiplayer or Special Ops, complete a specific daily challenge.
  • In Warzone 2, place within the top 20 of a battle royale match.
  • In DMZ, exfil with at least $30,000 in cash.

With a key in your possession, you can start dropping into the mission.

Are Call of Duty Raids worth playing?

If you're a fan of Modern Warfare 2's single-player offering, then it's definitely worth playing through the Atomgrad raid to see what's in store for Price and the rest of the task force. There are also numerous rewards you can earn by completing it on normal and veteran difficulty.
