Modern Warfare 3 developers have shared information on an experimental playlist making its way to multiplayer.
The Modern Warfare 3 cycle is in full swing and to inject a breath of fresh air into Sledgehammer Games' latest Call of Duty title, it plans on introducing a playlist that defies the convention of the more popular game modes on offer.
As attention starts turning towards the launch of Season 1, the Modern Warfare 3 experimental playlist will implement a range of features designed to enhance various areas of multiplayer that could be causing frustration among players loading into the action.
Following the launch of the November 15 patch notes, players and content creators were quick to notice the imminent arrival of the Modern Warfare 3 experimental playlist.
The first experimental playlist will feature the outlines of enemy players. As expected fans were quick to share their thoughts. One player says: "they doing anything except removing the Groot skin." Another adds: "Can't get rid of the hackers so they give everyone wallhacks lmao."
On the other hand, some are looking forward to additional visibility on the battlefield. One fan believes: "I think it's a step in the right direction. Allowing the community to play out new stuff and provide feedback so devs can make the needed adjustments." Looking at it that way, the experimental playlist may have its uses after all.
The first Modern Warfare 3 experimental playlist will give players the ability to see the outlines of their opponents. Depending on the feedback Sledgehammer Games receives, there's a chance player visibility will receive adjustments as complaints surrounding the almost invisible Groot skin continue to surface.
An experimental playlist also gives the developer options to add a range of other mechanics to spice things up. Imagine a mode where the ability to slide cancel is restricted or the number of players on each team is doubled to create maximum chaos. The possibilities are endless.
