Modern Warfare 3 Fans Desperate for More Large Scale Maps

Fans playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 really want Activision Blizzard to add more large-scale maps to the game. While players are enjoying the game’s multiplayer modes, the lack of maps has upset many who want a bit more variety in the areas they shoot.

On the game’s subreddit, user OBlock187 is begging Activision Blizzard for more large-scale maps to play through, just for more variety. This fan doesn’t even want brand-new maps in the game, willing to accept reused areas from previous games just to see something new in MW3.

Some fans have pointed out that Modern Warfare 3 has maps ripped straight from Urzikstan, so they might as well bring more areas from other games. Activision Blizzard could add some new maps in the next seasons, but they’re never enough, as they don’t add anything meaningful to the game.

Until the next Call of Duty game is announced, Activision Blizzard will be updating this game to a point, but we’ll wait and see. Despite some negative reviews, the game is still fairly popular with fans of the franchise, which is why fans want more from the devs. Given the poor critical reception, we wouldn’t be surprised if the game doesn’t get much support until the next title comes.

Most of the negative reception aimed towards Modern Warfare 3 comes from the game’s single-player campaign, which reused Warzone maps in a lazy way. The campaign does try to make players care, even killing some of the main characters to get a reaction, but it didn’t really work.
