As part of the Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 update, Stasis is a brand-new Operator that you can play as in Warzone, MW2 or MW3. However, you’ll have to know how to unlock Stasis in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone before you can play as them.
Introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3, Stasis is part of the Call of Duty Season 3 rewards set. For more operator unlock guides, check out how to unlock Hush and how to unlock Snoop Dogg.
Before we explain how to unlock the new operator, make sure you also check out the full battle pass rewards, how to unlock the MORS sniper rifle and how to unlock the new Gladiator weapon.
How to unlock Stasis in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone
To unlock Stasis in Modern Warfare 3 and Stasis, you must purchase the Blackcell add-on for the Battle Pass. This means that the new operator isn’t included in the standard battle pass, but is instead an additional purchase that comes with some swanky bonus rewards.
When buying the Blackcell bundle, you’ll immediately unlock Stasis as well as some other goodies. Stasis comes alongside 20 tier skips (25 tier skips for PS4/PS5 players), 1100 COD Points, weapon blueprints, finishing moves and weapon stickers.
Stasis cannot be unlocked via any other means and isn’t included in the base battle pass.
MW3 Stasis Operator price
Since Stasis comes free with the Blackcell battle pass, you’ll have to purchase the operator’s premium pass separately. Furthermore, you cannot buy Blackcell with COD Points or upgrade an existing battle pass to gain access. There is no discount available for Blackcell.
The Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Blackcell bundle costs £25.99/$29.99 or your regional equivalent.
Where can you use Stasis?
Thanks to the introduction of cross-progression, you’ll be able to use your Stasis operator across multiple Call of Duty games and experiences.
Stasis can be used in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, Modern Warfare 3, Warzone on PC and console and the new Warzone mobile.
