While it may be sometime before we get an official MW2 Multiplayer Remastered, community members are hard at work making their own version of the cult favourite Call of Duty game.
With the remastered campaign releasing back in March, players were no doubt disappointed to not get multiplayer with it.
After some eagle eyes spotted in the game credits that it was made 2 years ago, fans are eager to understand why a multiplayer hasn't been released and when they might receive it.
The rumours are that there's no intention to remaster the multiplayer, at least not any time soon, so this will be a welcome replacement until that day.
MW2 Remastered Multiplayer
Twitter user @GunofTZ tweeted out that they are working on an MW2 Multiplayer built within the Black Ops 3 engine and it looks AMAZING.
On his Twitter account, he has been tweeting out screenshots and videos of their progress.
The modder has shared more screenshots and even a video walkthrough of Rust.
