Blue-haired streamer Ninja has responded to a Twitter callout from YouTube sensation MrBeast in a manner that could suggest the pair will meet on the League of Legends battlefield at some point soon.
Despite neither being primarily known for their League exploits, with Ninja having risen to fame mainly via Fortnite and Halo and MrBeast mostly playing Minecraft and GTA, both creators' audiences seem interested in the idea.
Then again, assuming that the pair can avoid the game’s cheaters and smurf queue, League being neither man’s speciality could make for an interesting matchup.
Ninja Seemingly Challenged to League of Legends Battle
The exchange between the two began via a Tweet from MrBeast, which saw the YouTuber tease: “I may or may not be hosting a League of Legends tournament soon”.
Following up on this announcement, which Ninja retweeted, in another tweet, everyone’s favourite thumbnail face-maker seemed to call out Ninja, tagging the streamer and saying: “Also @Ninja sucks”.
Replying to this blatant disrespect, Ninja swiftly replied “I would literally dominate you in a League of Legends match and it wouldn’t even be close”.
He might have a point too, having dabbled in the game successfully in the past, reaching Diamond rank during seasons 4 and 5, in addition to Gold rank in 6 and 7.
Then again, Ninja’s latest foray into a competitive tournament didn’t end in victory, with the streamer having fallen in round one of Dr Disrespect’s ‘Hot Shot Duo Drop’ Fortnite event, which eventually saw Tfue and Zemie emerge victorious.
Ninja, meanwhile, has recently seen his icon skin return to Fortnite’s item store and also revealed what happened to his planned involvement in an EVO Super Smash Bros tournament back in 2019, during a poker live stream that also featured MrBeast and fellow influencer Ludwig early last month.
