To craft a Glider you need to set up your base with a Palbox and create a Primitive Workbench. Both of these need to be unlocked from the Technology menu.

How do Gliders work in Palworld?
To use your Glider you need to equip it into the Glider slot in your inventory.
Now you can freely use your Glider whenever you're falling. When in the air, tap the jump button again to begin gliding. Tap it again to cancel the glide. Gliding consumes a lot of Stamina so be careful not to let it run out.
Some tips include using the glider near the end of your fall. The glider also has a very low altitude requirement, so you can use it after a normal jump, even if you're not at the highest of heights. It gives you a small vertical boost whenever it triggers, which can be useful when traversing.
Palworld glider upgrades
Later in the game, you can unlock even better versions of the Glider such as the Mega Glider at level 17. It's much faster than the basic Glider.
The final Glider upgrade from the Technology list is the Giga Glider which is the fastest Glider available. You can only unlock it once you hit level 40.
Palworld Glider alternatives
An alternative to using the Glider is making use of the Pals known as Killamari or Celeray. If you capture a Killamari or Celaray and unlock their gear, the gloves you craft for it allow you to use it as a Glider. You'll need the following materials:
- Cloth x5
- Venom Gland x5
- Paldium Fragment x10
The Pal gliders are much better than the normal parachute in terms of speed and stamina consumption but require you to have the Pal in your Party.
