Thanks to the Feybreak update, Palworld now has Predator Cores.

You can use these cores to make powerful items like the Meowmere sword and increase your inventory space with extra pouches.

But getting Predator Cores isn't as simple as it sounds. Here’s how you can find and defeat these Predator Pals to collect the much-needed Predator Cores.

How To Get Predator Cores

The only way to get Predator Cores is by defeating Predator Pals.

These versions of Pals are aggressive and chaotic. They are marked by a red aura and the "Rampaging" tag above their names.

Unlike Alpha Pals, Predator Pals are not catchable, so it's best not to waste Pal Spheres on them.

You can take down a Predator Pal and get some Predator Cores, the number of which depends on the Pal's level and difficulty.

The drop rate is based on the level and strength of the Predator Pal, so stronger ones tend to drop more cores.

Some Pals drop one Predator Core, while others can drop as many as four.

Predator Pals are scattered across various regions of Palworld, and there are 33 of them in total.

You won’t find these creatures on your map, making tracking them down difficult.

However, they are tied to specific locations and can be found near certain coordinates.

Every Predator Pal spawns in a specific place, but they might not be there every time you check.

If you don't find one, just wander around or head to a different spot, then come back later to check if the Pal respawned.

They tend to spawn in these areas:

  • Vanwyrm (Level 25): (362, -177)
  • Direhowl (Level 25): (-325, -33)
  • Lovander (Level 26, Night Only): (-155, -424)
  • Gorirat (Level 30): (-275, -553)
  • Relaxaurus (Level 30): (-24, -348)
  • Mossanda (Level 30): (-318, -161)
  • Tarantriss (Level 30): (-63, -298)
  • Rayhound (Level 30): (246, -105)
  • Omascul (Level 31, Night Only): (9, -221)
  • Dinossom (Level 31): (49, 36)
  • Ragnahawk (Level 32): (341, -69)
  • Reptyro Cryst (Level 40): (182, 94)
  • Prixter (Level 45): (496, 212)
  • Dazemu (Level 47): (374, 315)
  • Kitsun (Level 47, Night Only): (-22, 167)
  • Jormuntide Ignis (Level 48): (-457, -447)
  • Gildane (Level 48): (-598, -225)
  • Cryolinx Terra (Level 48): (264, 364)
  • Faleris Aqua (Level 50): (-111, 141)
  • Loupmoon Cryst (Level 49): (-194, 246)
  • Wumpo (Level 50): (-294, 381)
  • Blazehowl Noct (Level 50, Night Only): (-273, 477)
  • Shroomer (Level 55): (-483, 168)
  • Elphidran (Level 55): (-340, 131)
  • Splatterina (Level 55, Night Only): (-614, 224)
  • Helzephyr Lux (Level 60): (-1003, -1114)
  • Bushi Noct (Level 60, Night Only): (-1191, -1574)
  • Sootseer (Level 60, Night Only): (-889, -1374)
  • Incineram Noct (Level 60, Night Only): (-1075, -1272)

These coordinates are a decent starting point, but Predator Pals roam around, so you might need to explore more.

Some Predator Pals like Lovander (Night Only, Level 26) only show up at specific times, so try checking at different times during the day.

But getting past a Predator Pal isn't that simple. These mini-bosses have much higher health and attack power than regular Pals, so make sure you're ready for a tough fight.

The red glow around them makes Predator Pals easy to distinguish from the regular Pals in the area.

When you get close to a Predator Pal, you'll see a health bar above its head, which means you're about to fight a boss.

When you defeat the Predator Pal, expect it to drop Predator Cores and perhaps other valuable resources.

However, don’t expect an instant respawn. A Predator Pal will take at least one in-game day to respawn after you defeat it.

To make the most of your farming time, fast travel between areas or handle other activities while waiting for the Predator Pal to respawn.

They don’t always spawn, so your best bet is to visit their usual spots occasionally and keep track of the in-game time.

The Pals respawn at different times depending on whether it's day or night, so plan around that.

Some players find fast travel between waypoints helpful and refresh the area to trigger a respawn.

If you don't see the Predator Pal, move away for a while and then swing back to see if it has respawned.

You can’t craft some powerful items without Predator Cores. Aside from the highly coveted Meowmere sword, you can use Predator Cores to craft pouches that significantly increase your inventory capacity.

Here are some of the crafting recipes that require Predator Cores:

  • Small Pouch (Level 28): Requires 1 Predator Core, 20 Fiber, 10 Leather, and 50,000 Gold.
  • Medium Pouch (Level 42): Requires 5 Predator Cores, 50 Fiber, 20 Leather, and 100,000 Gold.
  • Large Pouch (Level 52): Requires 10 Predator Cores, 80 Fiber, 30 Leather, 10 Carbon Fiber, and 200,000 Gold.
  • Giant Pouch (Level 57): Requires 20 Predator Cores, 120 Fiber, 40 Leather, 20 Carbon Fiber, and 400,000 Gold.

These pouches give you extra inventory slots, so you can carry more items and materials as you check out Palworld.

Collecting the Predator Cores for these crafts takes time, so keep farming those Predator Pals on the map.
