Paper Mario: The Origami King: Age Rating

Paper Mario has been a big hit for many adults, being the ones that played it as children.

Many probably want to pass on the passion they have for the game with their kids.

So here's what we know about the age rating for Paper Mario The Origami King!

What Is The Age Rating?

Paper Mario: The Origami King is listed on the official Nintendo UK website, there, the age rating is stated.

It looks like the new game will be a bit more aggressive than previous titles.

All previous Paper Marios have had a PEGI rating of 3.

Now, Paper Mario: The Origami King has a PEGI rating of 7, this makes it the first game in the series to have an age requirement.

According to the PEGI site, games with a rating of 7 are mean to include:

"Game content with scenes or sounds that can possibly be frightening to younger children should fall in this category. Very mild forms of violence (implied, non-detailed, or non-realistic violence) are acceptable for a game with a PEGI 7 rating."

So it's nothing major to worry about if you plan on buying this for someone young, it's more of a precaution!
