Paper Mario: The Origami King requires players to collect coins in order to execute certain moves and mechanics such as Toad cheers or adding more time in battle.
These actions aren't cheap either, so you'll need to collect a lot of coins.
Here's how to get coins fast.
How To Get Coins Fast In Paper Mario: The Origami King
Filling Non-Bottomless Holes
When you fill a non-bottomless hole with confetti, you'll be rewarded with a number of coins depending on how big the hole is.
Defeat Enemies
Fighting enemies will reward you with a chunk of change, so be sure to fight all enemies that you can.
Enemies will respawn when you return to an area, meaning you can get an endless supply of coins for minimal effort.
MONEY TALKS: Coins will help you in battle when times get tough
Interacting With Objects
Certain objects will reward you with coins, especially easter egg and secret locations such as the Super Mario Goal Pole.
Not only that, but '?' blocks will also reward you with coins (sometimes giving you up to 1000 coins).
Rescue Toads
Toads will give you a coin, meaning it's not very effective, but coins none the less.
Boxing Ring
In the menus, the game mentions a place that will reward you with a ton of coins.
The island is supposedly shaped like a boxing ring, although its location and purpose is unknown.
