And while many players are reviving their old tycoon memories, some are left wondering: is Park Beyond coming to Nintendo Switch?
With its colourful graphics and unique physics-breaking rides, some players could argue that both Park Beyond and the Nintendo Switch are a match made in heaven. After all, although the Switch has lighter and smaller titles in its library, it has received several successful AAA ports, such as Skyrim and The Witcher 3.

Is Park Beyond coming to Nintendo Switch?
While the Park Beyond and Nintendo Switch combination sound like the ideal place to realize your park-building empire, especially for the platform's portability and touch options, it is currently unknown whether Park Beyond will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
While there is precedent for Nintendo Switch ports being released at a later date, this could even take years. Years that the Nintendo Switch may not have. And while there may be a shadow drop planned in a world where Hi-Fi Rush is announced the same day it is released, the chances of this happening are really low.
The only alternative to enjoy some theme park simulation fun in Nintendo Switch is to, quite literally, play another game. There is Theme Park Simulator: Rollercoaster & Thrill Rides, which is the only alternative available in the Nintendo home and on-the-go console hybrid.
Park Beyond platforms - where to play?
While Nintendo Switch players will have to wait for a future port or look for an alternative, Park Beyond is currently available on the following platforms:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X/S
- PC
This is interesting because it makes Park Beyond a new-generation exclusive. Moreover, there are no plans for a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One release at the moment either. And while the Nintendo Switch is the latest Nintendo console, the fact that it uses 7-year-old hardware could potentially be another factor to hinder a future Park Beyond Switch port.
The rumours of the Nintendo Switch successor are stirring the waters quite a bit. However, experts speculate we could see an announcement in 2024, with a release in late 2024 or early 2025. This is all speculation of course, but this only makes the possibility of a Nintendo version of Park Beyond even more remote than before.
On the other hand, it is healthy and great news that we are seeing more and more games coming exclusively to the new generation of consoles.
