Persona 5 Strikers is a seemingly perfect sequel to Persona 5 and the fact that it’s made by a different development team, while also implementing a completely different combat system, is nothing short of a miracle. While the game isn’t as long as people would like, it’s still a fairly meaty game and the real-time combat system is so addicting that we can imagine players picking this title up over and over again, especially on Nintendo Switch.

Persona 5 Strikers: How to Unlock New Game Plus
Like Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal before it, there’s a New Game Plus function to unlock in Persona 5 Strikers so if you’re in the mood to slash thousands of Shadows with The Phantom Thieves again, you can do so! Oddly enough, this isn’t like most games where all you have to do is beat the main story and go to the main menu; no, Strikers makes you earn that New Game Plus.
Simply put, players have to complete every single Request in the game, including all of the new post-game ones that were added after completing the main story. This includes all the new bosses and The Reaper so you better get to grinding. After completing every Request in the game, load your game and defeat the final boss one more time.
After that, the Persona 5 Strikers New Game Plus option will finally be available. This mode will let players carry over all of the Personas they earned during their first run through the game, along with all of their weapons and armor that they purchased/earned.
If you think this will make the game too easy, you will also unlock new difficulty levels to play through. This should make all of those extra weapons and Personas fair game since we’re sure these bosses are going to give people hell. I do not want to imagine an even harder version of The Reaper fight but you never know.
Persona 5 Strikers is now available on the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
