How to recruit Ann and Futaba in Persona 5 Tactica.
Ann and Futaba can be freed from Marie's control during the final mission of the “Go to the Prison” mission line. You'll face them once you learn how to perform a triple threat and how to charge abilities by ending your turn early.
The goal of this encounter is to defeat Ann, as Futaba provides her with support. Here are the 3-star conditions:
- Clear the Stage
- Clear within 7 turns
- No one in the Party gets KO’d
Here are some tips and tricks we recommend for the encounter:
- Use the Explosive Barrels: The Explosive Barrels can do a significant amount of damage. Furthermore, you get a One More for each enemy knocked down, and you can use these to set up a Triple Threat attack.
- Watch out for Ann: Ann is extremely powerful in this encounter and can two-shot any of your units. Morgana is especially squishy, so don't hesitate to go back a couple of steps if she has gotten too much of an advantage.
- Manage your resources: You're going to want to focus on Ann and take her down in a single turn. This is because Futaba will heal her on their turn otherwise. Furthermore, Ann will also get a revival from Futaba once you down her. Luckily, the mission ends here.
Once you knock down Ann, Erina will undo Marie's mind control by planting a flag near them. You'll be treated to a cutscene, and Ann and Futaba will be freed from mind control and join your party!
Ann and Futaba character perks
Ann has a movement of 5 units and provides an SP Up bonus to the rest of your team. Her skill tree and primary skills boost her fire-type abilities. Ann is an S-tier character due to her skills, passive, attack-raising Tarukaja and the fact that her Femme Fatale special lets her take additional action.
Futaba is unlocked as the Party's Navigator, and the support she provides can be incredibly valuable as there's a wide variety there. She can heal and revive downed party members as well as raise the stats of standing party members, which can be really useful in clutch situations. Plus, she's always active on your team without taking a slot.
