Pet Simulator X pets list - Which pets are in which eggs?
The following is a list of all the pets available in Pet Simulator X. Since different pets can spawn from different egg types, we've broken down which pets come from each egg. That way, you know which eggs to prioritise if you're looking to add a specific pet to your collection!

As you can see, there are an awful lot of pets available in Pet Simulator X, numbering in the hundreds. Collecting them all will be a gargantuan task, given you only hatch one pet per egg. However, some pet types appear in more than one egg variant, so you could get lucky in hatching a more exclusive pet in a cheaper egg.
What are Pet Simulator X pets?
As the name might suggest, pets are the bread and butter of Pet Simulator X. They're the main way for you to accrue more money in the game, and as such, you'll want to have as many as possible.
Pets will follow your Roblox character around and earn currency, and the higher your pet's level, the more coins they'll bring to you. Equally, you can trade pets in the game's internal transfer market to get better companions in your journey, who can earn money faster.
You start off the game with one of the base pets: either a cat, dog, or bunny. From there, you and your companion will head to the grassy fields in the base world, where you can command your pet to earn coins by tapping on the gold piles strewn across the land.
Having more coins lets you purchase eggs, as well as access new areas with higher rewards and rarer eggs on offer.
What is the best Pet Simulator X pet?
Based on their stats and availability, there are a few Pet Simulator X pets in particular that are worth trying to get.
Namely, the best pet for players first starting is Domortuus, or any of the Dominus variants found in the Dominus Egg. These aren't easy to access by any means, costing a whopping one billion coins to purchase. However, they'll earn you around 45k coins per bundle they break down, meaning you'll eventually get your money back on the investment.

Of course, once you get past the first stage, you start unlocking different currencies like Tech coins and Fantasy coins. These have their own range of Eggs on offer, with exclusive pets within.
Some of the best pets in those sections include the Empeyrean variants of animals like the snake and fox, as well as the Blurred variants. These are unsurprisingly very hard to get, so it'll take a lot of grinding to get the very best pets in Pet Simulator X.
On the other hand, there is one pet that is definitively rarer than other companions, as its drop rate is incredibly low. That is the Huge Pumpkin Cat, which you can get from the limited-time Eerie Egg.
The price for that egg is relatively reasonable, at 120,000 Candy, but the Pumpkin Cat's drop rate is much more elusive. Your chances of getting it are a staggering one in 50 million, so the probability of you ever getting one is almost zero.
How do I get Pet Simulator X Pets?
As hinted at, it's impossible to get a specific pet in Pet Simulator X. Instead, you have to purchase and hatch eggs, which will randomly contain one of a range of pets. You can purchase eggs from the store at the front of the main hub world, where you run up to the egg you wish to buy, then simply tap it.
From there you'll watch an egg-hatching animation, before it reveals which new animal will join you on your quest. The good news is that more than one pet can follow you at once, so not only will you earn more coins from breaking down coin bundles, but they'll break faster too.
