Ahead of a PlayStation 5 event on Wednesday, the console's model number and box contents have leaked.
In truth, there's nothing particularly surprising about what's included, but it's impressive that we know so much about the console without actually having a release date or price.
PlayStation 5 Box Contents Revealed
Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad shared the box contents and model numbers for both the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.

He does note that the contents are listed via a Hong Kong distributor, so there's every chance the contents are region-specific, but it all makes sense.
There's the console, a Dualsense controller, a cable to charge the controller, an AC power cord and an HDMI cable.
Interestingly, it looks like the base that allows the console to stand freely is included too.
It's also worth noting that the console's 825GB SSD, one of the main selling points of the console, is listed as its own entry.
While it's unlikely users will need to fit the drive themselves, there's always a possibility that the console will have different storage options further down the line.
That said, Sony did say that 825GB is the optimum size for ensuring rapid load times.
You'll also have Astro's Playroom pre-installed on the console, too.
A recent blog post has highlighted the benefits of the PlayStation 5 for developers and what it'll mean for gamers, as well as a great new trailer.
Then there's the wealth of exclusive games coming to Sony's next-gen system, with more expected to follow.
