Pokemon Go has finally started adding a new QoL feature that lets you instantly ready up when trying to play Solo in Raids.
Before this, when trying to start a raid solo in Pokemon Go, you had to wait at least 2 minutes to find another player before you could initiate it on your own. With this new update, which was recently and quietly added, you can now instantly skip the 2-minute waiting time and begin your raid.
Another QoL feature that was added was the ability to Heal All Pokemon that have fainted during a raid; according to one user, "There's also apparently a "heal all" button during raids when your pokemon have all fainted, towards the bottom of the screen I guess, but I haven't seen that either on mine.". Note that we haven't been able to confirm the existence of this feature as of yet.
These features were first reported on the Pokemon Go Reddit, but it seems they haven't been introduced to everyone. Some users report having one or both, while others have neither. It seems Niantic is slowly rolling out these new QoL features for all Pokemon Go players.
This has left a lot of players feeling incredibly confused, as many assumed they were stupid and had never noticed these features before. However, the state of these features is still unstable, as one user reported, "Had them appear during Heatran raid hour for me, weren't there early this afternoon when I did a raid."
It is safe to assume that Niantic will iron out the quirks and finish testing for both features for a full, stable release in the coming few days.
Recently, Niantic has come under a lot of fire due to their frequent mess-ups, apologies, and live raid mismanagement. So fans are surprised and delighted to see such an excellent little addition quietly added to the game.
