Pokemon GO: Datamine Suggests A Throwback 2020 Celebration Coming

A new event was found by dataminers, and all signs point to a throwback celebration event, it's expected to come to Pokemon GO soon, and should hopefully introduce the long-awaited new Remote Raid Pass.

An interesting new event was found via datamine by the PokeMiners, and it features a slew of Pokemon that have previously been released.

The text mentioned four different regions - Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.

All of the Pokemon that have been released from these regions will feature, in the new throwback event.

This could mean, that the event will be divided into four different areas. With that being said, it's unlikely that they'll pack the event into one day like Incense Day, considering the event will be split between four areas, we'd imagine it will be spread over a few days.

Remote Raid Information

In the exact same datamine, there were additional details about Remote Raid Passes. Which hopefully means the release is upon us.

It would make the most sense to get it out as soon as possible.

Which means it could be released as part of the Throwback event, or even sooner!

There was also extra info, such as the addition of Remote Raid Passes becoming available to buy in the Pokemon Go Shop, and will come in packs of five.

Although it wasn't mentioned, it's likely that you'll be able to pick up singular passes.

Unfortunately, the price for either was not included.

The main feature of Remote Raid Battle is being able to play with your friends, which could happen straight off the bat.

Even though text was found referring to"Your Friends" and "Invitations", Niantic did previously reveal, however, that you'll only be able to play with friends in your local area.
