The Pokemon Go: February Community Day event is all set to begin on Sunday, February 9. It will run daily from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Karrablast and Shelmet are the stars of this upcoming event.

Featured Pokemon: Karrablast and Shelmet
Both Karrablast and Shelmet will be available to catch in the wild throughout the event. Their shiny versions will also have a higher spawn rate.
Now, talking about their featured attack. For Karrablast, you can evolve it during the event or up to February 16, 2025, 10:00 p.m. at respective local time, which will get you an Escavalier.
He is known for his Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move has 35 power in trainer battles and 55 power in Gyms and Raids. In the case of Shelmet, it can evolve to Accelgor which knows the exclusive Charged Attack Energy Ball.
Pokemon Go February Community Day Event Bonuses
Here, take a look at what the event has to offer as a bonus:
- 3× Catch XP: Get triple the experience points for every Pokémon you catch.
- 2× Catch Candy: Earn double candy for each catch, helping you evolve and power up faster.
- Increased Candy XL Chances: Trainers level 31 and above will have a better chance of obtaining Candy XL.
- Lure Modules & Incense Last 3 Hours: Keep the Pokémon spawns coming with extended Lure Modules and Incense.
- 1 Extra Special Trade: You can make two Special Trades between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM local time.

In case you need extra items, two special bundles will be available in the in-game shop as well:

- 480 PokeCoins Bundle: 30 Ultra Balls, 3 Super Incubators, 1 Incense, and 1 Lure Module.
Community Day Special Time Research
Trainers can purchase this exclusive research ticket for $2, which will give them a chance to earn additional rewards and encounters associated with these featured Pokemon.
Please note that the special research is available from the start of the Community Day, February 9, until February 16. So, you have plenty of time to complete the tasks and claim the rewards.
Apart from these, New Field Research tasks will also be available in the event where you can grab items such as Great Balls, Stardust, and additional encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet.
