Best Ways to Get Zygarde Cells in Pokemon GO
At the moment, there's only one way of getting Zygarde Cells and that is by taking Routes in Pokemon GO.
Routes is a relatively new feature added in mid-2023 that lets players create paths for other trainers to walk and get exclusive rewards, including Zygarde Cells.
The intention is that, eventually, every trainer will be able to create routes after following some simple steps, the most important one being above level 37, however, not everyone can at the moment. Still, try and find routes nearby to start farming Zygarde Cells.
To access routes, simply follow these steps:
- Check the Route tab from the Nearby menu to see local Routes
- Choose one that catches your eye
- Follow the Route and get those Zygarde Cells
It's important to note that you can only get Zygarde Cells from unexplored routes in a single day. You'll need to explore different routes, but Cells should start dropping more the following day.
Niantic did confirm that the drop rate for Zygarde Cells will increase in the near future, so keep an eye out for updates that have this quality-of-life improvement.
