Looking for that extra-special feline friend to join you on your adventures? This guide on how to get shiny Sprigatito in Pokemon Go might be exactly what you need.

Sprigatito is the Grass-type starter from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It was added to Pokemon Go along with its evolutions Floragato and Meowscarada in September of 2023 as part of the A Paldean Adventure event.

Pokemon Go has hundreds of different creatures for you to catch, so you may also be interested in catching Pokemon like Emolga and Chinchou. But if you’re looking specifically for a catlike Pokemon, we’ve also got a guide on how to catch Litten.

Unfortunately, Sprigatito’s shiny form hasn’t been added to Pokemon Go just yet. The leafy-looking cat is still relatively new to the game and shiny versions of Pokemon are usually added some time after they make their Pokemon Go debut.

While shiny Sprigatitos maintain a mostly green colour scheme, their eyes are purple instead of the typical pink hue. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the only way for players to get a shiny Sprigatito is by hatching an egg through walking.

This method of hatching eggs is also present in Pokemon Go, but the odds of getting a shiny Pokemon this way are abysmally low. Hopefully, Pokemon Go players will have other ways of getting a shiny Sprigatito once it is added to the mobile game.

That’s all we have on catching shiny Sprigatito in Pokemon Go, but we’ll be sure to update this guide once the purple-eyed version of this cat makes its way into the game.
