Pokemon Go Vulpix Shiny: How to catch Shiny Vulpix, Ninetales in Autumn Event?

It's October so naturally, most games are getting into the spooky swing of things and the Pokemon Go Halloween event will be no different.

Unfortunately, there are still a few weeks to go before we can experience some scary shenanigans.

But that's ok because in the meantime the developers at Niantic will b rolling out a new Autumn themed update to the game breathing some fresh life into the constantly evolving world.

Later today, the new autumn-themed event goes live, adding Berry bonuses, and even a Pokémon GO debut for Deerling!

The event will be live this afternoon from 8:00 a.m PDT (16:00 BST) but for fans always on the hunt for new shiny pokemon, it's also a very special event,

The Kanto based pokemon Vulpix is FINALLY getting a shiny introduced into the game, and if that's not something to celebrate, we don't know what is.

If you're wondering how to go about catching yourself a shiny Vulpix, then fear not and keep reading!

How to catch shiny Vulpix in Pokemon GO?

As stated, the Pokemon Go 'Autumn event' is going live today, and though it only lasts until October 12, once shiny Vulpix has been added to the game, it's here for good.

During the event Vulpix (along with many other Pokemon) there will be increase spawns so your chances of catching a shiny are automatically boosted.

But equally, there's no need to worry if you don't manage to capture one right away as you could still encounter a shiny Vulpix after the event ends.

Plus, it's worth catching as many as possible for no other reason than stocking up on candy.

Not least when you need 50 candies to evolve Vulpix into Ninetales anyway; and who doesn't want a shiny Ninetales!

Following the conclusion of the event, your best bet of catching a shiny Vulpix will likely come from visiting locations spawning as many Vulpix Pokemon as possible (obviously!)

We would suggest that to increase your chances you should head over to the Silph Road Global Nest Atlas to find your nearest Vulpix nest. Do keep in mind that these change monthly.
