Pokémon Pokopia is launching on March 5 for the Nintendo Switch 2 with its first limited-time event following suit just mere days after: More Spores For Hoppip.
The cozy life-sim has been getting rave reviews (including a 10/10 by our very own Editor-in-Chief, Alister Kennedy), and it looks like the developers at OmegaForce will kick off post-launch support with a bang.
While details are a bit scarce, here's what we know about Pokémon Pokopia's first LTM: More Spores For Hoppip.
Pokémon Pokopia More Spores For Hoppip Event Start Date
The More Spores For Hoppip Pokopia limited-time event will kick off on March 10. It will be available until March 24.

When you wake up in-game on March 10 (or anytime until March 24) for the first time, you will receive a notification that an unknown Pokemon has become "the talk of the town." You'll have to visit the Pokemon Center, which is now decorated with blooming flowers.
During the event, you'll be able to befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. These Pokémon will only be available during the event so you don't want to miss out on them.
How to Collect Cotton Spores
Cotton spores are found on Dream Islands. You can visit Dream Island for a day, but you can visit that island multiple times in that day. Luckily, it doesn't matter which Dream Island you visit, as all of them will have cotton spores.

Don't know how to access Dream Islands? You'll need to talk to Drifloon and fulfill his Find a Doll Request. The dolls can be found in Buried Treasure Blocks. Once you find a doll, show it to Drifloon, and you'll be able to access a Dream Island. Different dolls yield different islands, but which one you can access won't matter since all of them have cotton spores.

Take note, cotton spores can spawn practically everywhere. Don't be afraid to climb hills and mountains or go underground. When you find a spore, hold Y to collect clusters of items at a time.
How to Exchange Cotton Spores for Rewards
To exchange your cotton spores for rewards, visit Hoppip in the Pokemon Center. On the counter, you can see the rewards you can choose from. Each item has a different cost, so make sure you have enough when trying to exchange! Items can also be repurchased, so if there's one that catches your eye, you can get more than one!

Here are all the rewards you can get from the More Spore for Hoppip event, including how much cotton spore clusters they cost:
- Flower garland - 5 clusters
- Flower backpack - 5 clusters
- Juice trio - 5 clusters
- Lunch box - 5 clusters
- Hoppip water bottle - 5 clusters
- Dandy flower seeds - 5 clusters
- Flower cushion - 10 clusters
- Flower table - 10 clusters
- Flowery table setting - 10 clusters
- Picnic blanket - 15 clusters
How to Get Skiploom and Jumpluff
Besides Hoppip, you can also get Skiploom and Jumpluff as friends during this event. Like Hoppip, they won't be available once the event is done, so make sure you add them to your Pokedex before the 25th!

To get them to join your town, you'll need to create two new event habitats: the Yellow Carpet and the Dandelion Lunchtime.
The Yellow Carpet can attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. Hoppip will be the most common Pokemon, while Skiplook is Rare and Jumpluff is very rare. To create the habitat, you'll need four Dandy flowers.

To get Dandy flowers, purchase Dandy flower seeds from Hoppip in the Pokemon Center. Each seed pack will have 5 bags of seeds. You'll need two sets to make two Yellow Carpet habitats for a greater chance of getting Skiploom and Jumpluff.
The Dandelion Lunchtime habitat will attract Jumpluff. To create this habitat, you need one Dandy flower, one Lunch box, 1 Flower cushion, and 1 Flowery table setting. All of these can be bought from Hoppip at the Pokemon Center for a total of 25 cotton spore clusters.
