Predator: Hunting Grounds launches on April 24, with players able to step into the armour of the titular alien hunter or the shaking boots of soldiers trying to kill it.
While it looks to be plenty of fun whichever way you play, the main draw will likely be the Predator – but playing as him isn't as easy as you'd think. Here's why.
Predator: Hunting Grounds: How to Play as The Predator
As with Illfonic's Friday The 13th title, the role of Predator is randomly decided when playing public matches. That means at the time of writing you might queue for multiple matches without getting to become the dreadlocked hunter.
Thankfully, there's plenty of incentive to play as the Fireteam. For one, they arguably see more action as they try to complete varied objectives, and they can unlock bonus equipment and weaponry, too.
If you do end up lucky enough to play as the Predator, be sure to use your chance wisely – it might be a while before you get to do it again.
Of course, if there's any possibility that there's a way to change this, we'll update this piece!
