How to get Xerxes in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Xerxes are one of three currencies in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. They're a bit like Time Crystals in that you can find them by exploring levels thoroughly, but are much less common.

Exploration isn't the only way to find Xerxes, however. When you've reached The Haven at the base of Mount Qaf, a trader can be found. This old lady (known as 'The Mage') sells several items, with one Xerxes exchanged for 200 Time Crystals.

Other traders may be found selling Xerxes in future, and this guide will be updated if and when that becomes the case.

What can Xerxes be spent on?

We're currently not sure what Xerxes can be spent on, as our time with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was limited to a playtest. Their high buying price means they're almost certainly worth collecting, however.

Time travel is a large part of the game, and this 'old currency' may prove appealing to other vendors. It's entirely possible that players will meet Xerxes himself, a Persian ruler who could feasibly become a collector of these coins that share his name and likeness.

That's all we can tell you about Xerxes in Prince of Persia. For more, read up on the game's system requirements and pre-order bonuses, or find out how to use amulets.
