What's in the Rainbow Six: Siege Year 5 Pass

As you can see from the image above, there's plenty available for players in the Year 5 Pass.

The headline feature is six new Operators will be in the new pass.

These are actually available to all players, regardless of whether they own the Year 5 pass, but there's a catch – everyone else will need to grind to earn Renown to unlock them, whereas Year 5 Pass owners can jump straight in, and even play as the fresh Operators a week early.

You'll also level your battle pass 30% faster and get a discount on the Premium Battle Pass (a reminder that it only offers cosmetics), while there's the usual array of skins and outfits.

The big bonus for Year 5 Pass owners is the VIP membership which will last until January 31 2021.

The VIP membership offers a 10% store discount, a 5% boost to renown earned, and a 0.3% boost on Alpha Packs, the game's loot box mechanic.

If you're a die-hard Siege player, you'll want to jump in and get access to everything the pass has to offer.

Release Date

The new year is starting on the 11th March with Operation Void Edge, but you can get the pass now and be able to access the new operators 7 days early.

Operators

Iana and Oryx, the game's two upcoming additions to the Operator roster, both thrive on the element of surprise according to Ubisoft.

Iana is capable of deploying a holographic decoy, while Oryx can burst through walls like the Kool-Aid man.
