Anyone following Arkane Studios' work is bound to be asking themselves: will Redfall be on Game Pass? Redfall is Arkane Studios and Bethesda’s upcoming vampiric open-world shooter, where you and up to three other players lock-and-load to battle the undead on the island of Redfall.
The game will place a focus on exploration, first-person shooting, and environmental storytelling, which should be a surprise to no-one. Luckily, we can confirm that Redfall will be coming to Game Pass this year. Read on to find out more details about when you can expect to play.

When is the Redfall Game Pass release date?
Redfall is currently scheduled to be released on May 2, 2023, and will be available to play on Game Pass from day one. If you have an active Game Pass subscription, you can even pre-install it right now. Simply boot up the Xbox app on your console or PC to preload the game, so you can get right into your Van Helsing gunslinger fantasies on release.
If you need to keep your trigger finger occupied, you can also play Arkane Studio’s Deathloop right now on Game Pass. This first-person groundhog-day roguelike has you perfecting the same rampage on-loop. While it doesn’t feature Redfall’s promised four-player co-op fun, Deathloop does have a unique, Dark Souks-like invasion versus mode. It’s also a great preview of Arkane’s open-world style, so you’ll be well prepared for what the vampire infested island of Redfall has in store.
If you don’t want to be paying monthly for Game Pass, Redfall will also be releasing for Xbox Series X|S as well on the Xbox store, Steam and Epic Games on PC, and is available for pre order now.
Considering Bethesda and Arkane Studio’s pedigree for first-person goodness, Redfall is sure to be a day one download for any Game Pass holders.
