3. Killing enemies
Killing enemies is the easiest method, as you’ll be actively engaged in combat throughout most of your run time. However, this method is the least effective since it’s totally based on RNG. Many of the enemies don’t drop scrap, and when they do, it’s usually quite low. You can use rings to increase your scrap drop rate and amount, but this will take a while.
2. Opening Chests
Finding a chest is a more effective method to gather this currency as each chest contains around 50 to 150 scrap. These chests are scattered throughout the world, especially in various dungeons, so be on the lookout for them. You can identify these scraps on the map, marked with yellow dots.
1. Sell Lumenite Crystals
The best method to quickly farm plenty of scraps is to sell Lumenite Crystals. You’ll need these crystals to upgrade boss weapons and some other gear enhancements; however, stocking up on scrap should be your priority, as each Lumenite crystal provides 150 scraps.
Lumenite crystals are dropped by killing tough enemies and mini-bosses. You can spawn mini-bosses in an area by clearing out waves of enemies, allowing you to farm Lumenite Crystals endlessly and consequently stock up on scrap quickly. Each biome has 3-4 types of wave bosses, and you’ll learn to identify them pretty quickly. Their spawn is always accompanied by an ominous trumpet.
