What is the Labyrinth in Remnant 2?
The Labyrinth is a winding maze of platforms guarded by its rocky labyrinth guardians. However, dealing with the enemies is a matter of simply targeting their bright white weak spots. The flying variants and giant ground variants are very powerful. So it's better to keep your distance.
Despite being named the Labyrinth, this area is pretty straightforward to explore. You'll mostly be walking through the available paths to portals that send you off to different areas of the Labyrinth. There are multiple relics, boss weapons, and rings to be discovered for those willing to explore a bit. But you'll also run into these strange yellow doors, but leave them for now.

However, let's talk about clearing the main quest in the Labyrinth first.
Find the Colosseum of Ruin
Eventually, as you go through the portals, you will run into a portal that is shifting its destination. Wait for it to swap to a moving platform approaching a Red Crystal. Go through it in the last moments and jump off to the right quickly because the platform will collapse under you.
After this, walk up and interact with the crystal. There's an arena waiting ahead for you. The Colosseum of Ruin is a mob-style battle where you will be assaulted by waves of Labyrinth guardian enemies. There are a total of three waves, and each wave is more powerful than the last.
But once you've cleared the challenge, you can walk ahead and pick a portal key. Now you just need to return to the start of the Labyrinth and insert the key into the slot in front of the giant portal we saw at the start. Subsequently, this will lead you to the Labyrinth Sentinel boss fight.
How to beat Remnant 2 Labyrinth Sentinel
The Labyrinth Sentinel is one of the most unique boss fights we've encountered in any game. Once you enter the arena, the Labyrinth summons an eight-piece cube that breaks itself down and creates a moving maze for you to traverse.
So this fight can seem overwhelming at the start, especially due to the instadeath effect if you're caught under any of the cubes. Not to mention, they move around quite fast as well. So here are some tips and tricks to keep in mind when you fight the Labyrinth Sentinel Boss:
- There are a total of eight cubes, and each cube has weak white spots that you must shatter.
- Each cube will have around 2-3 white weak spots, so be sure to land a single hit to shatter each of them.
- A Rifle or a long-range, accurate weapon is ideal for this fight.
- There are four cubes floating in the sky, shooting projectiles at you and four down below, moving around the maze.
- The floating cubes rotate quickly, so you can shoot their weak spots easily. However, watch out for the giant cube attack that covers a large area.
- But the grounded cubes move in set patterns that you can memorize to avoid being crushed.
- When you blast the weak spot on a grounded cube, it creates a crate. It is safe to come under this crater, and you can therefore use this to relax the pace of the fight.
- But if you're in a tough spot, make sure to leap between the different areas. The cubes are timed in a way where you always have an escape available.
- So keeping track of all the weak spots is essential. You can learn the exact movement patterns after trial and error and figure out the perfect strategy.
Get and use the Biome Portal Key
Once you've defeated the Labyrinth Sentinel, you can proceed onwards to the All-Seeing Eye, guardian of the Labyrinth, and Clementine, who will discuss how to proceed from here on. The Guardian will give you the Biome Portal Key, and this does exactly what you might expect.
Remember those yellow glowing doors from earlier? Well, the Biome Portal Key allows you to access all of these and move freely to other worlds. So from here on, you can continue your adventure in the available biomes.
But there you have it, that's all you need to know on how to clear the Remnant 2 Labyrinth and beat the Labyrinth Sentinel. For more guides, check out the best rings in Remnant 2 and how to unlock and use secondary archetypes.
