Is the Ada Wong side content in Resident Evil 4 remake?

Yes, Separate Ways, the Ada Wong side content, is coming to Resident Evil 4 remake on September 21, 2023.

At launch, the Ada Wong side content was not in Resident Evil 4 remake. Instead, it was added in a post-launch update as a paid DLC expansion. Ada Wong is a beloved character in the community, and the Separate Ways add-on is one of the most memorable parts of the original game.

Fortunately this has been on the cards for a while, after a datamine found by Gosetsu from the RE Wiki Discord uncovered a set of files named "The Another Order." Considering the files are definitely in the game, it wasn't surprising to see Separate Ways added as its own DLC expansion down the line, likely in a more elongated format.

What is Separate Ways in Resident Evil 4?

Separate Ways is a mode you unlock after beating the original Resident Evil 4. You play as Ada Wong, travelling through key areas and moments in the game, seeing what she was up to at the time, and how she subtly impacted the story. Given she's back for this full-fledged remake, it would be surprising if we didn't see Separate Ways return in some capacity down the line.
