Robocop Rogue City editions

Robocop: Rogue City's release date is just around the corner, with it coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. There are also two editions of the game available for purchase, with standard and Alex Murphy editions available for pre-order at different price points.

Pre-ordering either the standard or Alex Murphy version also comes with some additional bonuses. However, as effectively the Deluxe Edition of the game, the Alex Murphy version includes some additional features not included in the standard edition, as to be expected, including more skins and exclusive weapons.

Robocop Rogue City - standard and Alex Murphy edition differences

According to developer Teyon's website, the Robocop Rogue City standard edition comes with the base game, plus the Vanguard Pack as a pre-order bonus. The Vanguard Pack includes:

  • Blue Armour costume
  • Pitch Black Auto-9, which looks like a slick-looking version of Robocop's Auto-9 weapon, one of 20 weapons in the game

In comparison, the Alex Murphy or Deluxe Edition of Robocop Rogue City includes the following:

  • Robocop: Rogue City base game
  • Vanguard Pack
  • Plus, an exclusive Prototype Auto-9 weapon, another version of the Pitch Black Auto-9 included in the Vanguard Pack
  • OCP shotgun sidearm
  • Damaged Armour costume skin
  • Digital artbook
  • 48 hours early access

Besides the price differences, the major difference between the standard and Alex Murphy versions of Robocop Rogue City is the 48 early access the Alex Murphy version gives, which could appeal to players eager to start busting crime sooner as the half-man, half-machine hero.

If you're looking to get hold of every Robocop suit skin, then the Alex Murphy version may also catch your attention with the bullet-peppered suit that's reminiscent of the first Robocop movie.

Either way, pre-ordering either game version gives you some extra goodies for protecting the innocent and upholding the law with the Vanguard Pack, whichever version of the game you might opt for.
