RTTF Release Date

The Road to the Finals got underway at 6pm BST on Friday, February 18th, as Team 1 arrived in packs.

At present, there is no indication of a Team 2 squad being added, which means this is likely to be a one-week promotion, which will come to an end on Friday, February 25th.

RTTF - How Does It Work?

The Road to the Finals is a performance-based promotion similar to the Ones to Watch promo, whereby players can see their ratings upgraded if they perform well on the pitch.

Each player begins with an upgrade at the start of the event, usually one rating higher than their base card. From there, the player receives a further upgrade each time their team progresses to the next stage of their respective competitions.

For instance, should Sadio Mane and Liverpool progress past Inter Milan and into the quarter finals, then the Senegalese forward will jump to a 93 OVR. Victory in the quarters would see Mane up to a 94 OVR and so on.

A player can be upgraded a maximum of five times, for progressing through each of the four knockout rounds before winning the final.
