Saints Row release date

Saints Row finally launches on August 23, 2022, mere weeks from now. This comes after years of teases and delays. With it just around the corner, we can't imagine there being any more substantial delays or changes. The game is finally almost here.

You can read our Saints Row preview here if you want to know what we thought about it. If you want to see a slightly older preview to see how the game has changed, check out last year's Saints Row preview.

What platforms is Saints Row on?

If you're looking to play the game for yourself, you can pick it up on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Google Stadia and PC.

It seems like it's going to be a pretty impressive game but it still runs on last generation's hardware - an impressive feat.

Is Saints Row coming to Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately, as of right now, we have no confirmation of a release on Nintendo Switch. It is technically possible it could eventually arrive if the game is a big success. This being said, it seems unlikely we will see Saints Row running on Nintendo Switch.

The hardware would really need to be pushed to run it. This all being said, some publishers are opting for a cloud-based solution to the tougher games and Saints Row's launch on Google Stadia shows they're not against this route. Maybe we could see a cloud-based launch.
