GameMill Entertainment has released the second gameplay breakdown for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl just recently. This time, the developers discussed the movelist of Sandy Cheeks and how she's built for close range brawling. Here's what players can expect from this character

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Sandy Cheeks Gameplay Breakdown

As seen on the Sandy Cheeks Showcase video from GameMill Entertainment, all of Sandy's 17 moves were discussed on the trailer. Most of her moves were just briefly shown and not much of them were discussed one by one. However, the developers mentioned that Sandy Cheeks is a close range brawler that excels in dealing damage on her foes when she gets her hands on them.

To pummel her opponents up, she is equipped with decent attacks that setup combos, hard-hitting single strikes, and combination attacks at a single press of a button.

Close Range Brawler

As for her playstyle, the developers note that she is a brawler that excels in fighting up close and it shows. Her Kick-Punch Combo and other combination attacks give Sandy Cheeks reliable options to hit her foe repeatedly once she gets closed.

Meanwhile, approaching her foes is not one of the weaknesses of Sandy Cheeks is also given unique tools to approach her foes. Her Rocket Jump isn't simply a jetpack that helps her levitate upward but also move around rapidly in the stage.

Meanwhile, she can also pull her foes closer with the The Sheriff attack that throws a lasso and reels any foe closer that she catches. Lastly, her Extend-O-Boots give her an option for a sudden vertical movement without losing her footing on the floor.

Overall, Sandy Cheeks is built to chase down her foes for a straightforward beatdown.

Who's Next

Since Sandy Cheeks is a Spongebob Squarepants character, the developers could be going for series to series on this one like the moveset reveals on Twitter. The pattern goes that the developers cleared the Spongebob Squarepants characters first before moving on to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters.

If the gameplay breakdowns also follows this pattern, Patrick Star could be next.
