How to save your game in Sea of Thieves

To save in Sea of Thieves, you will need to sell the loot you’ve earned for in-game currency or renown. Sea of Thieves is a session-based game, so all of the trinkets you have in your inventory will disappear as soon as you log out.

Aside from your currency and renown, you’ll also be able to retain your character’s ship and progress after logging out, so there’s no need to worry about those. Just remember that you won’t be able to start any sort of collection in Sea of Thieves.

It’s also important to note that dying in Sea of Things will also cause your loot to disappear. You’ll respawn right away, but you will do so with a lighter inventory. So to keep your progress from your latest voyage, be sure to check the map for the nearest NPC that is willing to purchase your spoils.
