Prepare to pick up your weapons once more: Diablo 3 Season 26 is about to begin. Even all these years on from the game's launch, this originally unassuming new season is the first to add a brand-new activity to the game. It's set to be a big one, and here's everything we know about Diablo 3 Season 26 as it stands just hours before it's set to stand.
Down below, we'll go over just about everything you should need (or want) to know about Diablo 3 Season 26. There's talk of the season gimmick, Season 26 class sets, pets and other rewards, classic Haedrig's Gifts, new cosmetic items, and the other Journey Rewards you can expect to unlock over the next few months.
With a release planned for this year still, you'll want to get your Diablo Immortal pre-registration in before the big day to score some free (and exclusive) cosmetics. The Diablo Immortal class change mechanic is set to take a lot of the ARPG struggle out of the game for its mobile release.
When Does Diablo 3 Season 26 end?
Diablo 3 season 26 is set to end on August 21. Season 27 should start shortly after, but it could be a few weeks out.

What is the Echoing Nightmare in Diablo 3 season 26?
The souls of heroes defeated in the eternal struggle against evil call for aid! Astute Nephalem will listen to the petrified screams of the dead, and find themselves attuned to the last agonizing moments of the departed. Will these Nephalem heed the whispers of atonement of fallen heroes and survive their echoing nightmare? Or will they be forever trapped, becoming just another fallen Nephalem? Only time will tell...
The Echoing Nightmare is a brand new activity added for Diablo 3 Season 26. Following the season's theme of detailing what happened to fallen Nephalem in the Diablo universe's past, it pits seasonal characters against increasingly harder challenges. It's the first time that a seasonal theme has introduced a new activity alongside it.
Players will have to deal with an intense challenge area that gets progressively harder over time. Will you be able to withstand it? The Echoing Nightmare is there to explore what happened to the Nephalem that didn't succeed in their trials.
What are the new Diablo 3 season 26 class sets?
For Diablo 3 Season 26, you're running to earn the following new sets for each class:
- Barbarian - The Legacy of Raekor
- Crusader - Armor of Akkhan
- Demon Hunter - Embodiment of the Marauder
- Monk - Inna's Reach
- Necromancer - Pestilence Master's Shroud
- Witch Doctor - Zunimassa's Haunt
- Wizard - Delsere's Magnum Opus
To get a full set for the class you're playing on, you need to complete chapters two, three, and four of the Season Journey log. Each of those chapters will award one chest, with a couple of pieces of your class gear being in each.
To get a full set, you'll need to open all three on the same class. And given you can only recieve each chest once per season, opening any on a second character will essentially block you from ever completing a set. You've been warned.
What are the Diablo 3 Season 26 seasonal cosmetic rewards?
With a new season comes new rewards. You'll get Rakkis' Remembrance Portrait and a Toothsome Trooper pet for progressing through the Diablo 3 Season 26.
This time around, Season 14 rewards are returning. So if you missed the boots and pants from the Conqueror set or the Tal Rasha portrait frames, now's your chance to get them. You can even unlock a pennant dedicated to the fan-favourite archangel.
What are the Diablo 3 Season 26 journey rewards?
Those who've hit Conquerer in a season before will already have unlocked a stash tab (or five). For those who haven't earned their fifth yet, hitting the Conquerer tier and completing the objective list above will get you one new stash tab.
- Complete a level 70 Torment XIII Rift in under 5 minutes
- Complete Greater Rift 60 solo
- Kill Greed on Torment XIII
- Kill the Butcher at level 70 in Torment XIII in under 30 seconds
- Reforge a Legendary or Set item
- Augment an Ancient item with a Level 50 or greater Legendary Gem
- Level three Legendary Gems to 55
- Complete two Conquests
If it wasn't clear enough already, you can't earn more than five additional Stash Tabs throughout the Diablo 3 Journey Rewards program regardless of whether it's a new season or not. If you already have five, these objectives won't really mean much to you.
