NBA 2K22 continues to go from strength to strength, with yet another new Season launching later this week!
Season 3 is expected to bring a host of festive fun to the NBA 2K22 world, with MyTEAM the centre of attention.
There is likely to be a Christmas theme heading to the Neighborhood, whilst the festivities should also be the focus of the next batch of MyCAREER rewards.

We're just three days away from the release of NBA 2K22's Season 3, which means we're just three days away from our first game of Clutch Time!
And that means that, for the first time in MyTEAM history, we'll be looking to drop dimes from the FOUR-point line.
Yes, you read that right, a 4-point line is being introduced into the soon to be released mode.

NBA 2K22 Season 3 Release Date
Season 2 of the NBA year will end this Friday (December 3rd), with Season 3 waiting in the wings to take its place on the same day.
As is the mantra with seasonal releases, there will be a six-week window to enjoy everything on offer in Season 3, which will then come to an end on Friday, January 7th.
NBA 2K22 Season 3 New Game Modes
2K Sports have finally released more news on the Season 3, and all the challenges that are to come as we land in the coldest season yet!
It's all about coming up clutch in the upcoming season, with the Iced Out theme enhanced by a brand new game mode which will be added into MyTEAM upon release.
Entitled Clutch Time, here is everything you need to know.
Clutch Time
As revealed in the NBA 2KTV 300th Episode Celebration found above, a brand new mode, entitled 'Clutch Time' is coming to NBA 2K22's MyTEAM.
Clutch Time matches will begin in the fourth quarter with five minutes on the clock. You will have to pick your starting five carefully though, as you will not be permitted to use any bench players.
Should the scores remain tied at the end of the regulation period, you will head to a sudden death overtime, where winning the tip is quite literally the difference between winning and losing.
NBA 2K22 Season 3 Rewards
So what could the upcoming release have in store as far as those all-important rewards are concerned.
Could we see the first Galaxy Opal card of the year arrive in the rewards? There's a strong possibility that we could!
There has been no confirmation of that from the developers at 2K Sports but, by looking at recent releases, the signs are promising.
The first Galaxy Opal of 2K21 dropped on December 22nd 2020, when Dwayne Wade was handed a 97-rated card that was awarded to those who reached Level 40 of the MyTEAM rewards rankings.
Keep those fingers crossed, because it looks like Father Christmas could be delivering an early present to the MyTEAM community this Friday!
