Despite the widespread disappointment of Season 3, Vanguard players are still jumping into multiplayer matches and remain committed to its struggling Zombies mode. Season 4 is on the horizon and if Sledgehammer Games can deliver, the state of Vanguard will improve greatly.
So far, we know Butcher is one of three playable Operators appearing in addition to a new Battle Pass and the possibility of USS Texas joining the multiplayer map pool. Let's not forget the return of round-based Zombies and the arrival of the legendary Shi No Numa map!

Vanguard Season 4 Bug Fixes
One issue that's affecting the vast majority of players is a sudden dose of Packet Burst during matches. This brief period of lag is hugely annoying, especially if you're in the middle of a hotly-contested gunfight.
With numerous players reporting it, let's hope Sledgehammer Games has found a fix within the Season 4 update.
Vanguard Season 4 Weapon Buffs and Nerfs
Over the past three seasons, developers have applied a minimal amount of weapon balancing across the Vanguard arsenal much to the annoyance of players. The MP40 and Automaton continue to dominate the meta despite the new additions to multiplayer.
Will Season 4 finally contain some buffs and nerfs to inject life into what has become an incredibly dull meta?
That's everything we know about the Vanguard Season 4 update patch notes so far. Once they appear, we will update the article with all the details.
