Shipment Goes Live in Vanguard Multiplayer

With just over two weeks to go until the start of Season 1 for Call of Duty Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games has added fan-favourite map Shipment into the map pool, making it the 17th map available in multiplayer. The iconic map famed for its close-quarters chaos is now live across all platforms and is the third remade map to appear in Vanguard, alongside Castle and Dome which first appeared in Call of Duty World at War.

The map first appeared in the first-person shooter franchise in 2007 as part of the multiplayer for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Since then, the map has been given fresh coats of paint in numerous titles, most recently appearing in 2019's Modern Warfare.

Just like its previous reworks, Shipment has received a new look to fit with the theme of World War 2 along with breakable walls in several of the containers that make up the majority of the map layout. While it looks like an attempt to demonstrate one of Sledgehammer's new innovations, the destructible elements should reduce the chances of being caught in a spawn trap, with more ways to escape the confines of the containers than ever before.

To celebrate the launch of Shipment, the map has received its very own 24/7 playlist featuring a variety of game modes that will guarantee plenty of fast-paced, high-octane action perfect for ranking up shotguns and SMGs as fast as possible.

The Best COD Vanguard Shipment Loadout

Considering shotguns have yet to be nerfed, we highly recommend using our Combat Shotgun loadout built for success in the hectic close-range battles that Shipment has to offer. For an alternative, try the Type 100 and utilise its fast rate of fire to your advantage.
