Skull and Bones Grave News investigation Walkthrough

Investigations are a series of highly enjoyable missions in Skull And Bones, involving elements such as solving mysteries, exploring different locations, and uncovering treasures.

This mission involves investigating a grave robbery. It seems the DMC Governor Carel Brouwer's grave was looted, and his valuables, alongside sacred items, were stolen. So, Governor-General of the East Indies Matthijs Camphuys wants our help to retrieve Carel's stolen belongings.

To unlock the Grave News investigation, you must first find the message inside a bottle floating in the water. Sadly, the bottle's location can vary, making it difficult to find it. However, it can often be seen swimming around the Spice Islands.

Some players even report finding the bottle 700 meters away from Laar or 260 meters north of Fort Premie. Yes, you should do a deep scan in these locations. Here, you learn that some of the grave robbers who plundered Carel Brouwer's grave are being held captive in Fort Premie.

''We've succeeded in avenging our comrades-thousands slaughtered by the direct hand of that rotting scum, Carel Brouwer.

We took his corpse and his treasure. But the Dutch didn't catch us all. Some got away. So great riches await any brave soul that would help us escape Fort Premie! If it does come to death, seeing the Butcher of the Spice Island sunken and helpless as we wrenched his corpse from its silver coffin... was the best day of my bloody life!''

Once you find the floating bottle and read the message inside, divert towards Fort Premie and plunder it. You should remember that it's a heavily defended military base. The rewards are great, but only the strongest pirate groups will pull off their assault. Also, note that you need to reach the first treasure chest reward at the end of the loot to continue the investigation.
