What are Skull and Bones Infamy ranks?
Infamy is Skull and Bones' version of player ranks. By earning Infamy, more commonly known as experience, by playing the game, you'll start to earn higher Infamy ranks as you progress through the game.
Additionally, other players will have the ability to see your Infamy rank when you encounter them on an island or in a heated battle between a couple of ships.
Working through Infamy ranks will unlock harder missions and tougher bosses to defeat alongside the ability to earn better gear, upgrades, and more vendors to shop with.

There are several ways you can increase your Infamy rank in Skull and Bones. The easiest one is by completing events and contracts which are obtained by exploring all of the regions.
It's worth noting that some of the events and contracts have a required level, so bear that in mind before taking on a particular task in order to avoid an untimely trip to Davy Jones' locker.
