Want to know how to redeem the Welcome Firework in Skull and Bones? Then we're here to help.
The long-awaited Ubisoft title has had extensive beta testing periods ahead of its full launch on February 16. Players who purchased the premium edition can get access starting on February 13, meaning they can redeem a plethora of rewards from playing during the beta periods.
Still, there are a few items, like the Welcome Firework exotic cosmetic, that aren't unlocking for a portion of the player base, causing confusion. In this guide, we'll tell you what you need to do to get this elusive item.
How to get the Welcome Firework cosmetic in Skull and Bones
The Welcome Firework reward in Skull and Bones is an exclusive unlockable for players who took part in the December 2023 Closed Beta. This may have caused confusion as many players jumped in during the February Open Beta testing without knowing that the window to obtain this cosmetic was already closed.
The in-game text explicitly states that you need to play in the recent Open Beta to claim the Welcome Firework. This is incorrect and is a mistake that has yet to be fixed by Ubisoft.
If you go to the official Closed Beta 2 landing page on Ubisoft's website, you'll see that in order to claim the Welcome Firework cosmetic you needed to play for a total of six hours between December 15 and 18. Ubisoft did not list this item as part of the rewards available during the Open Beta.
If you played during the Closed Beta for the required amount of time, redeeming it is a simple process, whether you're on PC or console.
On PC, simply open the Ubisoft launcher, click on Skull and Bones and scroll down until you reach the rewards tab, you should be able to claim it right away. For console players, open the game and select the Ubisoft Connect tab, select Skull and Bones and navigate to the rewards section.
