Ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home's launch next week, the future of the web-slinger is still up in the air. But Morbius lead, Jared Leto, has hinted at what might be next for the beloved hero.
During Sony's presentation at CCXP Worlds 2021, the actor unveiled more details on the villainy spin-off. He indicated that Morbius is part of a wider universe of villains who all have something "sinister" in common during the panel.

Spider-Man's Showdown With The Sinister Six Teased By Morbius' Jared Leto
With the multiverse in full swing, Leto suggests that the Friendly Neighbourhood hero might face off against Morbius and maybe, five other villains.
In the film version of Morbius that we're bringing to you now, he's also a part of a much larger universe. If you've seen the last Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, you know the multiverse has officially opened -- and there's all kinds of opportunities for villains to meet up, thrive and maybe even nurture their more sinister intents. That's all I'm gonna say for right now.
The trailers for Morbius reveal the MCU's Vulture, Michael Keaton, while Venom: Let There Be Carnage's end credits scene also teases a confrontation with Tom Holland's hero. Coupled with a Kraven movie on the way and led by Aaron Taylor Johnson, it seems like Sony is really expanding its villainy universe.
Though these comments seem quite weird, given that Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to bring back several baddies making it already feel like a Sinister Six-esque film. But with so much secrecy surrounding the Web Crawler's third solo outing, we'll soon find out what lies ahead for Peter Parker.
The presentation also revealed an extended clip of Morbius, showcasing the Doctor confronting his blood-sucking alter ego.
