In Stalker 2, you must repair your damaged or low-durable weapons to keep them working. To keep them effective and running, it is important to repair them regularly before it’s too late. Here’s a step-by-step process on how to repair weapons:

Locate a Technician

To fix your weapons, you need Technicians, also known as Techs. You can find them in major settlements within the Zone, like Zalissya. These NPCs can be identified from their wrench icon on the map. You will find the first technician, Lens, in Zalissya, who offers repair and upgrade services. As you progress along the story, you will unlock several other technicians at different bases.

Access the Upgrade Screen

To repair a weapon, interact with a technician. Select the Upgrade option to access the repair menu. All your equipped and carried gear will appear on this screen, along with their current durability status. Items with a yellow shield icon indicate they are worn, while those with a red shield icon are critically damaged or broken.

To repair the weapon, select it and check the repair cost displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen. Make sure you have enough Coupons, then press the repair button to restore the item to full durability.

Consider Repair Costs

Keep in mind that repairing items in Stalker 2 can be costly. The price for each weapon repair varies and is determined by the weapon’s rarity, current condition, and overall quality. Rare weapons or those in poor condition require more coupons to fix. If you are low on budget, focus on repairing essential gear, such as your primary weapon, to avoid wasting Coupons on unnecessary repairs.

Additionally, repair costs vary from technician to technician. To get a better deal, explore multiple zones to find the cheapest one. To maximize your weapon’s efficiency, repair it frequently to ensure it does not reach critical conditions, which will cost you more coupons.
