February 16, 2023: The third and final Honkai Star Rail beta has begun.

With no release date planned just yet, our Honkai Star Rail tier list hasn't been able to properly materialize. Even still, we've taken it upon ourselves to put together a list of characters, their weapon types, their voice actors, and everything we know about Honkai: Star Rail for the time being.

Though initial testing ended in early November, we still haven't learned much about this game other than what was announced earlier last year. What we do know, though, is that it's a strategy RPG.

If you're looking forward to this but haven't already indulged in the series, we have plenty of Honkai Impact codes to help you get started in the first game. We even have a Honkai Impact characters list as well.

When is the Next Honkai: Star Rail beta?

Following the second Honkai Star Rail beta that ended in May 2022, a third beta test kicked off on February 10, 2023 - almost a full year after the last.

It's slated to be the final beta before release, so don't expect another chance to play the game early.

Honkai Star Rail release date speculattion

Originally set to release in 2021 (or so we thought) Honkai Star Rail still hasn't released as of early 2023.

With a final beta kicking off in February and expected to last around a month, we're back to the original thought of the game launching on March 7 - the name of the game's main protagonist. It's purely speculation at this point, but it's an easy connection to make.

Honkai Star Rail characters

A handful of characters appeared online over the weekend as a result of beta leaks. Hoyoverse leaker Ubatcha removed the information after a short time, though we still have the names and some of the details.

"Well, would you listen to that! I caused a bit of trouble and saved everyone! Thank you March 7th!"

The self-proclaimed Super-Duper Awesome Girl, March 7th is as ambiguous as her name. She's said to be a clever, quirky girl who is "enthusiastic about all things girls her age are enthusiastic about." According to her recent character PV, that includes taking polaroid pictures.

What Is Honkai Star Rail?

Honkai: Star Rail is the second game set in the Honkai universe after Honkai Impact 3rd.

Rather than the action-RPG combat of its predecessor, Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG with exploration aspects that "takes players on a cosmic adventure across the stars" on the fictional Astral Express through the galaxy's infinite wonders.

You'll roam its lands and bump into monsters on the overworld to trigger turn-based battles where your small squad use elementally-attuned attacks to deal damage to targets.

Beyond borrowing talent from the studio's own Genshin Impact, the English Honkai: Star Rail voice actors list is already looking stellar (pardon the pun). With Resident Evil's Albert Wesker there and even Impa from The Legend of Zelda, there's some top-tier talent ready to breathe life into this world.

Aside from, again, borrowing the cast of Genshin Impact, the Japanese Honkai: Star Rail voice actors come from anywhere from idol franchises like The Idolmaster all the way to violent shows like Attack on Titan. Talk about a mismatch.

And that's everything we know about Honkai: Star Rail right now. Again, Mihoyo hasn't revealed much (if anything) since the game's announcement back in October last year.

As such, there isn't a whole lot to add to this Honkai: Star Rail tier list at the moment. Rest assured, however, that when the game is released, this will be the best page to get all of your character rankings. Bookmark it now and thank us later.
