Wondering how to get the Iridium Scythe in Stardew Valley? We've got you covered.

Nevertheless, as farmers depend upon tools for efficiency, similarly the players in Stardew Valley can use different farming tools to ease their jobs. A tool for example is Iridium Scythe, which was introduced in update 1.6 and is the upgraded version of Scythe.

However, getting this item is challenging, as it involves getting it by unlocking it through mastery points. The process may be very hard for newcomers. However, don’t despair, this guide will assist both beginners and seasoned players to obtain the Iridium scythe in Stardew Valley.

How to get Stardew Valley Iridium Scythe

In Stardew Valley, the Iridium Scythe can be obtained by redeeming Farming Mastery points at a Mastery Cave. It may sound easy to do but it is a difficult task because firstly you will need to get mastery points and then you will need to locate the Mastery Cave to claim this item.

How to get Mastery Points

Firstly, you'll need to unlock the Mastery option in your skill bar, because it will not be available until you've maxed out all five of your skills. Once you've done that, you'll notice the Mastery bar just below these skills in the Skill Menu.

Once you have unlocked that, the next step involves filling this bar with your experience points. This process requires collecting 10,000 points, which can be time-consuming. However, the most efficient way to increase this bar quickly is by gaining more experience in the skills you've already maxed out.

These skills include Fishing, Mining, Foraging, Combat, and Farming. Once you've gathered 10,000 points, the bar will be filled and you will earn your first Mastery Point. This point can then be redeemed in exchange for the Iridium Scythe in the Mastery Cave.

Once you've obtained your first Mastery Point, your next task is to locate the Mastery Cave, situated in Cindersap Forest. To find it, head south of Leah's House. Continue along until you encounter a door present within the hill, which you can identify from a note written by Grandpa.

To open the door, make sure you have reached level 10 in all 5 skills. If you have already done that, you can enter the secret room beyond the door. Inside the room, you'll find five distinct icons, each representing one of your skills. You will need to select the icon corresponding to Farming. Upon doing so, you'll be rewarded with the Iridium Scythe.
